Homatic is currently looking for an experienced RF consultant for a long-term assignment with a customer on Funen. At the same time, the search for the right candidate shows something about the development of the Danish labour market, where specialised technical skills have become more difficult to find.
The current assignment is with a company in the defence sector, where technological development is taking place at a high pace. The client is looking for a consultant with strong RF competencies and experience from complex development projects in the industry.
“It is an exciting task for the right candidate. He or she will work closely with technological development and be part of projects where the requirements for both professionalism and quality are high,” says Jens Arendt, Head of Consultancy at Homatic.
According to him, it is not only the technical skills that are crucial.
“The best consultants combine their specialist knowledge with the ability to collaborate across disciplines. Modern development projects require you to be able to work closely with both hardware, software and project teams,” he says.
Jens explains that Homatic is experiencing an increasing demand for specialized consultants in development, electronics and engineering. Companies want access to the skills when the need arises, but without necessarily having to hire new employees on a permanent basis.
“The consulting and freelance model gives companies flexibility and access to expertise when they need it. At the same time, it gives skilled specialists the opportunity to work on exciting projects across industries and technologies,” says Jens.
Homatic is therefore looking for an experienced RF consultant for the current task on Funen, with expected start-up in August or September 2026. The consultant must be resident in Denmark, and it is a six-month assignment with the possibility of extension.
